 Hindustan Motors Limited is the only Indian Automobile manufacturer to produce vehicles catering to almost all segments of the industry - rural, semi urban and urban.
Besides passenger cars like the Ambassador and Contessa, Hindustan Motors Limited also manufactures vehicles that serve multiple purposes. The Multi Utility Vehicles (MUV)- Trekker, Pushpak and Porter are designed to negotiate rough terrain, which makes them pliable on any road condition. The MUVs now come with a new improved body and wide carriage space with a high load carrying capacity. Fitted with a powerful engine, five-speed gearbox and vacuum assisted power brakes, the MUVs share most of their components with the Ambassador and are hence easily serviceable. Operationally effective, fuel efficient and low on maintenance, the MUVs are ideal transport vehicles - be it for cargo or passengers. |
